Womens Draws - Everyone regardless of group will play two Waterfall matches on Friday. Both of these matches will be 8 game pro sets no-ad. On Saturday, everyone will play two matches, On Sunday will be all the finals, both consolation and main draw. All Matches on Saturday and Sunday are regular scoring with a third set tiebreaker.

Mixed Draws - Everyone will play two Waterfall matches on Friday. Both of these matches will be 8 game pro sets no-ad. After both Waterfall Mixed B Bracket will be seeded 1-16 and placed in 4 different pools. All Teams will play one match on Saturday and two more on Sunday. In the Mixed A Bracket after the first two Waterfall matches teams will be placed in 4 brackets based on their results from Friday. Only the winners of the first match on Saturday will play a second match on Saturday, otherwise all teams will only play one match on Saturday, but everyone is guaranteed at least one more match on Sunday and possibly two. All matches on Saturday and Sunday are regular scoring with a 10 point tiebreaker for the 3rd set.

The times listed for the matches are ESTIMATES.  You could play anywhere from 30 mins before to 30 mins after the listed time. We really try to stay right on time if not early with all of our draws, but sometimes mother nature, or long matches affect that. So with that, all players must arrive (and ready to play) a minimum of 20 minutes before their listed start time.

Players should go directly to their court assigned on the draw sheets. If your designated court or another court is available and we are within the 20 minutes of your estimated match time and you or your partner are not present we will start the default clock of 15 mins.

Practice-Warm Up Courts will very rarely be available.

Limit your warm up time to 5 mins. Keep your Change over times to 3 mins max. Play tennis… chit chat after the matches

Rain and Defaults Unfortunately, Racquet War cannot control Mother Nature. In all the years we have been running our events, there has only been one weekend completely cancelled due to weather. Amelia Island, FL (2017) was disrupted by Hurricane Irma. But from time to time, we encounter rain that delays us for a couple of hours or sometimes it is a complete washout for the day. Please know that we ALWAYS do our best to provide the players as much court time as possible. The RW team and the pros at each facility work in conjunction to make this all happen. The worst case scenario is when it rains us out on Sunday and we obviously do not have the time to make up the matches. We must not only keep in mind the players who are wanting to play, but also the players who have already made travel plans for later in the day. If this circumstance does happen, we sincerely apologize, as it is not the way we would like our events to end. As much as we would like to give refunds or even partial refunds, it simply does not calculate out for us to be able to do that as our expenses are locked in for the weekend. We hope all of you can understand!

One unavoidable thing in all events, especially some of our larger tournaments are defaults. We try as hard as possible to prevent these but people get hurt or things happen out of their control and certainly ours. We always do our best to backfill missing teams, but it is obviously a difficult task on such short notice. If you are one of the unfortunate players to get a default (it will happen), just know we are disappointed as well.

The Racquet War experience, besides the competitive tennis, is a fun weekend with friends filled with exciting events, lots of laughs, and a memorable time overall.
